The session will have Native language teacher panelists who will share the challenges they have faced in continuing to teach during the COVID response "shut down" of schools. With these challenges, they have also realized the potential of teaching Native languages using technology. Panelists will talk about the challenges they have experienced in teaching their language within schools and community through various methods and the potential they see in using technology to support language learning that can provide access to community members, where permitted, to learn their heritage language.
